Hello, I have used the MS Date and time picker control 6.0 (SP6) in one of my forms. In the property of this control, under OLE class is shows 'MSCOMCTL2.DtPicker. Strangely, when I search for the MSCOMCTL2.OCX on my computer, I cannot find that OCX file. Any ideas on how the form can use this control when it does not exist under that name?

I am running into problems since the app works on some client machines and does not work on some. I need to know the EXACT Ocx file that needs to be registered to make the app work. Thanks in advance. In fact to search the registry in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT is how windows identifies the OCX, DLL or EXE from an ole class name. Also as Olaf suggested, I opened the form as a table. In the ole2 field the name being referred is mscomtct2.ocx and not mscomct2.ocx When I go to the Tools Component gallery Installed Controls and right click on the control and select 'Version' - it shows the info as attached in the image. The original file name is COMCT232.OCX and on the title bar the caption is 'Version Information for mscomtct2.ocx. I am confused. Am I using COMCT232.OCX or MSCOMTCT2.OCX?
